It’s official, Trust Group Inc. is expanding to Tulsa, Oklahoma. On Monday, March 19th, 2018, our team celebrated the highest achievement someone can reach in our firm, Jacob’s promotion to Management.

We are overjoyed to share Jacob’s story and accomplishments as he embarks on a new adventure. Jacob started in our firm in 2016 as an entry level account representative learning the basics of sales and marketing and worked his way up our Management Training Program. He grew up in Marfa, a small Texas town, where he developed a competitive nature from playing football, basketball, baseball, and track. In 2015, Jacob graduated from The University of North Texas with a degree in Psychology. After college, he joined the Global Outreach Group and travelled to Costa Rica to establish a family camp program, the Campamento Roblealto, and took on various aid projects. His passion for helping people, coupled with his work ethic and infectious positive attitude are characteristics our president, Adrian Hyde, noticed right off the bat.

Growing up Jacob’s father instilled two life lessons, which guided him throughout his journey at our firm, “No matter what you do, you be the best at it!” and “Never forget who you are.” With these two lessons in hand, Jacob demonstrated a relentless attitude in not only attacking his goals but making sure he helped everyone reach their goals. We believe in winning as a team here at Trust Group. At our celebratory party, Adrian spoke of Jacob’s ability to help people understand their “why” and purpose in life. These distinctive traits attribute to what makes Jacob a true leader and why his crew will follow him anywhere.

He will be leading a talented crew, Tre, Jason, Isell, Ernest, and Elizabeth to represent a new client in our portfolio.  We are ecstatic to see this expansion crew accomplish major milestones, as they conquer Tulsa. Jacob’s new goals include providing the same opportunity given to him, expanding and representing a client overseas, and starting a nonprofit organization to continue impacting as many lives as possible.

This promotion celebration was bittersweet, full of happy tears, laughter, fun field stories, and countless best wishes. We will miss his entertaining beat-boxing, funny jokes, and big ole smile, but here’s to crushing new goals and dominating Tulsa!

Trust Group, Inc is excited to announce we are a Best and Brightest company to work for in Dallas!

We attribute our amazing company culture to this prestigious award. How did we create such an amazing culture?

First, we make sure we have the right team members, then we add in cool factors like an arcade room, putting green, foosball table, and a few slices of pie. Here are some pictures from our Game Night we hosted at our office. Our team members enjoyed playing Uno, Heads Up, poker, foosball, hole in one, and old school arcade games. We had a blast!!!

But how does playing a quick game of Ms Pacman or foosball lead to success? We believe that when people enjoy what they do they naturally perform at higher levels. These “games” might seem insignificant to some, but they get the blood pumping and increase the competitiveness in the room. In the end, this yields higher performances and results.

We know company culture is not all base on just playing games, so we make sure we provide an environment where we work as a team to provide excellency for our clients, customers, and colleagues. We encourage our team members to work together as well as individually to set and meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals. Goals that will challenge each team member to grow and develop professionally and personally.

Trust Group Supports the North Texas Food Bank

DALLASNov. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Sales and marketing company Trust Group, based in Dallas, Texas, recently held a drive to raise support for the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB), a nonprofit relief organization that provides access to more than 190,000 meals daily for children, seniors, and families across Texas.

The team at Trust Group started the food drive at the end of October, and it culminated just before Thanksgiving. In total, the sales representatives at Trust Group donated food items as well as $500 to benefit the NTFB and those it serves.

“We wanted to give back to this amazing city by assisting the people in it who need help the most and allowing everyone to enjoy the holiday season,” said CEO Adrian Hyde. “It’s exciting for us to support the great work of The North Texas Food Bank, an organization that cared for some of our team members during the holidays when they were children.”

Do you ever wonder who is behind Trust Group, Inc.? We had the opportunity to have an exclusive interview with our CEO, Adrian. You don’t want to miss this!

Trust Group: Person that inspires you to be successful and why?

Adrian: My pop. No matter what the situation, he would never lose his cool or focus. People were naturally drawn to him. He just had such compassion and charisma. I love and miss that man each day.

Trust Group: Favorite things about being President of Trust Group?

Adrian: My amazing team, the freedom to make my own decisions, and the ability to provide opportunities for others.

Trust Group: What do you think most attributed to your success?

Adrian: A relentless mentality to keep going no matter what challenges may arise and surrounding myself with a strong support system.

Trust Group: What advice would you give someone embarking on this career path?

Adrian: Be patient with yourself- champions are not built in a day. Understand there will be ups and downs in life; when things are up, work hard. When things are down, work harder.

Trust Group: Favorite past times?

Adrian: Baseball, traveling, and spending time with my beautiful wife and family.

Trust Group: Favorite movie?

Adrian: Top Gun. I have a cat named Maverick. Next are two dogs, Goose and Iceman.

Trust Group: What are your professional and personal goals for the future?

Adrian: Professionally: Expand our company by the end of 2018. Become the # 1 office for our client in the nation.

Personally: Build my wife the house of her dreams and start our family. Have the capability to take care of my family, team, and friends.

Trust Group: What made you want to be an entrepreneur?

Adrian: My parents were entrepreneurs. I grew up watching them grow a small security business in 1976 with just the two of them. They expanded to over a thousand employees nationwide by 1986. They were the true definition of work ethic and persistent dedication. I always knew I could never work for someone- one of my biggest fear is to be someone’s employee. I want to be in charge of my own destiny.

Trust Group: What did you do before starting Trust Group?

Adrian: I started out working with Terminix as a termite helper. I was responsible for inspecting homes and spraying for insects. I knew right away, I did not want crawl into dark spaces or hot attics the rest of my life so I started up selling customers for higher services. Within months, I became the highest sales rep in the area. I took the money I had saved to open a dry-cleaning business with my friend. I also managed restaurants and night clubs in New York.

Trust Group: What are some challenges you had to overcome in life or business and how did you do it?

Adrian: First challenge was learning to put others before myself. I was not used to this mentality. But once I finally learned to put others first, I began to have a bigger purpose and vision for success. Second challenge was holding myself to a higher standard daily, not just when I felt like it. Third is asking for help. I used to avoid anything that was a weakness of mine, but now I seek help from coaches, books, team members, family, and any resources in order to improve.

Trust Group: What are key factors to success?

Adrian: The 3-D Effect: Desire, Dedication, and Discipline. When you have all three, your vision will become clear and tangible.

Trust Group: If you can have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

Adrian: My pops. It has been 17 years since his passing, but not a day goes by that I do not miss him. For alive person, it would be Derek Jeter. I would pick his brain on his leadership ability on and off the field.

How to land the perfect opportunity with Trust Group Inc

Graduation has come and gone, you have racked up 1000+ hours on Netflix, your graduation tour has come to an end, and now your parents are giving you the stink eye. “How’s that job hunt going little Johnny?” translates to, “When are you moving out and paying back all the tuition money I have invested?”.

Now is the moment you have been dreading since May, ADULTING! Why me? Why now?

Have no fear. We are here with helpful tips on how to land the perfect opportunity here at Trust Group or anywhere.

Tip 1: Make sure your resume is on point.

This does not mean you must learn graphic design, spray your resume with perfume or write a novel with everything you have done since the 9th grade. Do make sure you highlight your strengths, include relevant experience pertaining to the desired position, and focus on the results you can bring. Top key words that will stand out to our hiring team includes: communication skills, leadership, student mentality, and competitive drive. Double, triple, quadruple check for any typos and grammatical errors. Nothing will get your resume disqualified faster than these distractions.

Tip 2: Study up on the company.

Take the time to read up on the company and on the interviewer when possible. Learn as much about the company’s culture, history, and future goals. If the company is taking the time to interview you, make sure to return the favor by planning and preparing for the interview.

Know the answers to these basic interviewing questions:

  1. What attracted you to our company?
  2. What separates you from other candidates?
  3. What are your career goals?

Tip 3: Dress to impress.

If the job interview requires black tie and tuxedo, make sure you have your best penguin suit ready. Luckily for us and most companies, we only require business professional. You only have 30 seconds to make a great first impression; do not spoil your opportunity because you did not iron that shirt or too lazy to put on a tie. Look on the company’s website to gain a sense of the company’s dress code and culture. Some companies are very laid back and dressing trendy is acceptable. Rule of thumb, it is always better to be overdressed than under-dressed.

Tip 4: Timing is key.

If you are in the military or grew up in a military family then you are familiar with the saying, “If you are early, you are on time. If you are on time you are late.” This is also true in the interviewing process. But how early is a good measure? 10-20 minutes is a safe bet. This gives you time to find parking, locate the office, fill out necessary paperwork, and gives you extra time to ease the jitterbugs. If you know you are going to be late due to traffic, make sure to call and let the interviewer know. People do not mind negatives, they hate surprises.

Tip 5: A smile with that firm handshake please.

My dad always says, “You can tell a lot about a man by his handshake.” Is your handshake considered the hand crippler, the limp fish, or just perfect? Along with a firm handshake, make sure to smile and maintain eye contact. Body language is half of the communication process. Smiling and eye contact convey confidence. Whether you are interviewing for a sales position or not, candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills will stand out more to interviewers.


This will sound cliché, but we want to get to know YOU and what it will be like to have YOU on our team. Show us your personality. We are interested in getting to know you on a personal level, what drives you, what makes you tick, and if your personality will match our team dynamic. At Trust Group, we pride ourselves on our fun and energetic environment. We are not expecting a stand-up comedy show, but it is okay to laugh and have fun during our interview.

Sorry for the long wait since our last post. So many remarkable things have happened over the year so hang on tight as we get you caught up on the AMAZING year here at Trust Group.

Biggest news by far are the two assistant management promotions we had for Adam and Jacob. These two studs have worked so hard and have been such notable examples of hard work, dedication and leadership. Both will be expanding into new markets before the end of 2017 and we cannot wait to see all their upcoming accomplishments.

With these two promotions, we have expanded tremendously and moved into our beautiful new office space. We now have a huge conference and training room, an ARCADE for our colleagues to kick back and play some foosball, Miss PacMan and old school Street Fighter. There is a putting green area to practice our swing and have coaching opportunity with our team. We hosted our yearly Operation Smile fundraiser back in May. We love raising awareness for this wonder organization and funding mission trips and surgeries to help children with cleft palate and lips.

We traveled to Atlanta, Las Vegas, Charlotte, Lake Tahoe, Austin, Los Angeles and Cabos. Phew, that’s a lot of travelling. Yet we can hardly wait for our next big trip to Dominican Republic in October! Yup, you read that correctly, our management team will be soaking up the sun in beautiful Dominican Republic at the Hard Rock Resort.
