Privately owned sales and marketing company Trust Group recently held a fundraising and food drive to benefit the North Texas Food Bank, a nonprofit that provides meals for the hungry in the community.
Held from late October and culminating just before Thanksgiving, the food drive successfully gathered 100 cans of food. Overall, the team’s fundraising efforts results in more than $1,100 – all of which will go toward the food bank’s daily operations. Every dollar provides three meals for those in need, which means a total of 3,420 meals will be given out this holiday season.
“It’s especially gratifying during the holiday season to be able to help feed those in need in our community,” said Trust Group President Adrian Hyde. “We are really excited to not only meet our food donation goal but also surpass our fundraising goal.”
